I recently went through my stash and found a jelly roll that I had forgotten about. It is Oasis collection by Three Sisters for Moda fabric. It is mostly florals with corals, pinks, soft yellows, grays, beiges, and soft aqua blues. Then, I looked through Layer Cakes, Jelly Rolls, and Charm Quilts by Pam and Nicky Lintott that I bought last year. I found the perfect design. I had to buy a few fat quarters for the sashings. Most of them are from the Aster Manor. This collection of fabrics is also by Three Sisters for Moda.
The process.
Here are some photos of blocks I have pieced.
This quilt is called Damask Rose and is what I call "nap-size". It is 62"x50". The blocks and sashing colors and prints are supposed to blend for the most part. I can not wait to show my friend Sharon because that is the type colors she prefers in a quilt. As you can see, it does have an occasional pop of color.
