Where in the world is Prima Donna?

This is my first post in a month. I have been busy traveling. I've been on both coasts in the month of July. Not much in the way of sewing has been going on. I'm really behind on that.

I previously told you about my trip to San Diego, CA to visit grandchildren and my daughter. At the end of July I took a road trip to Savannah, GA with my soon to be college freshman granddaughter to visit her Dad (my son). I had been to the area once years ago, but didn't really get to experience Savannah. What a fun place to visit! Loads of history and beautiful architecture and awesome food!

We spent an afternoon at Tybee Island beach. We ate at Paula Deen's restaurant The Lady and Sons and The Pirates House for some great buffets of Southern cuisine. I think our favorite activity was a ghost tour in a hearse. Even my granddaughter, who swears she hates history, loved the tours.

So, am I done with travel? Well, I'm traveling to the Memphis area to visit my mom and sister. Then, I'll be finished with traveling and back to sewing...until October. The projects are starting to stack up!
