A Very Busy Year Planned

My goodness! I had no idea how many projects I had started...and not finished. Look at my list of UFO's on the sidebar. At my guild we are making a list and then a number is drawn. That is the project to work on that month. This month is project #5. On my list it is the Baltimore Block wallhanging. I will be doing some slow Sunday stitching on that today. I haven't worked on it in while. My goal is to finish it this month. Here is the project as it stands today.

You can also see that I have a BOM and a Quilt Along that I will be working on. I got this lovely stack of solid Kona fabrics in the mailbox Friday. I will be using them for the Delightful Stars quilt.

And, I already had these solids (below) in my stash. I bought them over a year ago and then changed my mind about the project I bought them for. They will be put to good use this year.
I have plans for some new quilt projects, too. We can do this! What are your plans for 2014? What are you slow stitching today? Visit  Kathy's Quilts today for some slow stitching inspiration.

I have a busy year planned also. Quilting is like being in an avalanche. I have decided just to enjoy the ride. I love kona solids, can't wait to see what your do with them.

What a lovely applique block! Definitely lots of quality slow stitching time in your future. I am absolutely drooling over your pack of solids. I have really started to enjoy having solids to mix in with other fabrics. Good luck with your plans for the new year. Finishing up UFOs is an admirable goal.

I think that is a great idea for your guild to focus on finishing UFOs. Country Threads does the same thing and I am trying to participate, but I have to finish my list. Good luck!

I have checked my Ufo Ark also, and the plan is to finish as much as I can during 2014, if possible one at leat, each month. Love the colors of the new fabrics. Good lucky on your goals. Hugs from Brazil

Love Baltimore album quilts - good luck with your stitching! Also love the idea of drawing a number each month on what UFO to work on.. I think this is a great idea!!! Maybe I need to do this with some fellow quilters. Deb (debraharryquilts.blogspot.com)
