Within the next day or so, I should be finally finished with my 1930's reproduction dresden plate quilt. I looked back through my blog and realized that I started this quilt in Sept. 2012. No rush. LOL You can see the beginning stages here. In my last blog post I was working on the binding. When I was stitching on it last night I realized that, apparently, when you are chit-chatting with friends you don't stitch as fast. Imagine that! But, the retreat was so much fun! We hope to make it an annual event!
The quilt has a lot of yellow and red and I hoped to tone it down with the lavender binding. I love a polka dot binding and this Aunt Grace floral gives the feel of dots. I love it.
Why don't you join me and others at Kathy's Quilts as we do some slow stitching today.
May all your ups and downs today be with needle and thread.
