This and That

I have finally finished and mailed my Santa Sack Swap gifts and Terry in CA has received it. I received her gifts, too. Just waiting to be told when we can open them. Very exciting!

This past week I was sworn in as Vice president of my quilt guild. It is a very large guild with about 85-90 attendees each month. VP is considered the most difficult job because the VP is responsible for the monthly program. Just call me a glutton for punishment. LOL. If y'all have any ideas to offer, please don't hesitate.

Hopefully, today I will finish up the pillow for my daughter. I need to stitch down the center embroidery piece and hand quilt the block. I think she will love it. She prefers old-fashioned looking patterns and designs. Reminds her of my mother, I think.
What are you slow stitching today? Check out the slow stitchers at Kathy's Quilts.

May all your ups and downs today be with needle and thread.

Congratulations, I hope you love your newly elected position. Your slow stitching looks wonderful too and I believe that laove is the key along with great intentions. And yes, it seems as I'm always really busy.... but that's life and how I roll. LOL

Nice to meet you. Jane

That is a big job to tackle. I am sure you will do a great job and find it easier as the year progresses. Does that mean you are president next year?????? ;-)
