Sad Times

Just a short post. My 59 year old step-daughter is in hospice care. It has been a difficult week for my family. She has battled cancer for many years. She continued to travel extensively every chance she got. She is an amazing woman.
I have been stitching my appliqued baskets at the hospice residence and at home. I may have to call them worry baskets like Audrey at Quilty Folks blog.

Please keep my family in your thoughts. I will return when I can.

May all your ups and downs in life be with needle and thread.
