Gifted Quilts

Can hardly believe that this is my first post in10 months. Numerous things going on that made me not want to post. But, I don't want to get into that. Wonder what happened to that Spools quilt I last posted about? Blogging wasn't the only thing I was slow with. I finally presented it to my youngest sister a couple weeks ago. She was surprised and thrilled. My mother taught all 4 of her daughters to sew, but my youngest sister and I are the only ones who still do. So, it was fitting.

Besides, my daughter (who sews) confiscated the Mary Engelbriet quilt because she loved the way it draped and how cozy it felt.

May all your ups and downs in life be with needle and thread.

I love your spools quilt...that one is on my long list of quilts to make. So nice to see you creating & blogging again. I need to blog again, too...but Instagram is so much quicker and more immediate.
